Returns

GMP rule baked in: returned goods NEVER go straight back to sellable stock. Every return is received into the Quarantine bin with its lot number; QA decides the disposition — Restock (unopened outer packaging only), or Destroy. Credit notes live in QuickBooks; Gaia stores the reference.

Project Gaia — static mockup in Filament v3 idiom. No backend. Returns are illustrative; SO/shipment references follow the real numbering series.

Engine notes

  • Receipt posts a return_receipt movement into the Quarantine bin — never sellable stock. Restock disposition posts a bin transfer + COGS reversal; Destroy posts a write-off movement.
  • Lot capture is mandatory on every return line — returns feed the same batch-trace screen (mock-recall covers returned goods too).
  • A return referencing a shipment auto-fills its lines and lots from the packing list.
